In the example above, if Team A wins you get back ৳2,500 — that is your ৳1,000 original stake plus ৳1,500 profit. If they lose, the full ৳1,000 is gone. For a favourite, the odds are lower — for example, if Team B's odds to win are 1.50, a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,500 (profit of only ৳500).
An example of two possible outcomes in a specific match: in a limited-overs cricket match, Team A's odds are 1.80 and Team B's odds are 2.00. If you place ৳1,000 on Team B and Team B wins, you get back ৳2,000 (profit ৳1,000); if Team A wins, you lose the full ৳1,000. Visit the cricket page to read more about cricket betting.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on the odds for any market adds it to the bet slip. Adding just one event makes it a single bet. Once you enter the stake amount, the potential return is shown instantly.
Adding more than one event makes it a multi bet — also known as an "accumulator" or "acca" for short. Read more about how multi bets work on the multi bet page. With this type of bet, all selections must win together. If three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.70, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 3.81. A ৳100 bet returns ৳381 if all three win — but if any one of them loses, the entire ৳100 is gone.
Multi bets offer the chance of a higher return, but the risk is also higher. With a single bet, it is easier to focus on one event and make a decision. Understand the advantages and disadvantages of both types and bet according to your own preference.
